Pre-game warmups were interrupted at 3:05 p.m. due to lighting in the vicinity. Teams returned to the field at 3:35 p.m. before they were pulled off again five minutes later. USC reported another strike at 4 p.m.

This is the second consecutive week the Gamecocks have dealt with a weather delay. Last week, South Carolina’s matchup with Towson was delayed for nearly 75 minutes in the beginning of the third quarter due to weather.
